Ingredients
Organic Beeswax: Deeply nourishes, rejuvenates and firms the lips. Beeswax contains natural emulsifiers that help retain moisture, making it a great ingredient for dry, chapped lips. Protects lips from UV rays – Much like how sunblock protects your skin, beeswax can protect your lips from harmful UV rays.
Cocoa Butter: Rich, super-fatted butter which nourishes, makes lips supple and restores elasticity to the lips. Cocoa butter is an emollient that is a great source of natural antioxidants. It adds a protective hydrating layer to lips, helping protect them from extreme temperatures and indoor heat that can leave your lips dried out.
Shea Butter: It is an exceptional healing agent for dry and chapped lips. It is supremely rich in fatty acids and antioxidants which help heal the dry lips and make them smooth and plump. Your lips are thoroughly nourished and hydrated.
Mango Butter: Mango butter is packed with antioxidants and works as an emollient to soften the lips. This makes it a great ingredient for the lips. It eliminates itchy and dry skin, protects from UV rays and prevents the development of wrinkles.
Kokum Butter: One of the most hard and stable vegetable butters, easily absorbed into the lips. It is composed of beneficial compounds that help to regenerate and nourish lip cells.
Avocado Butter: It is full of monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamin C, and vitamin E, making it ideal for keeping your lips healthy, hydrated, soft, and firm.
Coconut Oil: Benefits include the potential disinfecting and antimicrobial effects of coconut oil. Such benefits may keep your lips germ-free, and subsequently help protect any cracked skin from becoming infected too. Furthermore, coconut oil is an anti-inflammatory. This means it may reduce swelling.
Almond Oil: Soothes and moisturises your lips. It always lightens dark lips, removes dark spots and tries to even the lip colour. It is rich in Vitamin E which is a very effective anti-oxidant. With the aid of almond oil you can reverse the effects of skin ageing caused by exposure to factors like the sun, smoke as well as from dehydration.
Olive Oil: It is used to condition and protect lips from drying out or becoming chapped. It’s packed full of anti-aging antioxidants, making it great for your lips.
Castor Oil: It’s rich in the monounsaturated fatty acid ricinoleic acid, a known humectant. Humectants help retain skin moisture by preventing water loss through the outer layer of your lips. Because of these qualities, castor oil can be applied to promote hydration of your lips. It provides additional benefit of soothing and conditioning chapped lips.
Jojoba Oil: The waxy texture of jojoba oil forms a protective barrier over dry or chapped lips to lock in moisture and leave them feeling soft and smooth. Jojoba oil contains vitamin E, which is a natural anti-aging ingredient for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Vitamin E Oil: It is used to relieve chapped, dry lips. Since Vitamin E promotes cell turnover and regeneration, using it on dry lips brings new cells to the surface faster. The thick and oily consistency of Vitamin E oil can also prevent further irritation.
Honey: It helps moisturise your lips and protect cracked lips from infection. It also works as a mild exfoliator and can help remove dry, dead skin from your lips. Honey contains magnesium and antioxidants that prevent the lips from getting discoloured.
Orange Essential Oil: It has a sweet and energising aroma. It is also antibacterial, high in vitamin A, and soothes dry and itchy lips.
